The Dream Trail is a hiking trail that starts from the area around the Sevan botanical garden and continues northeast along the Arjanots mountain range. Arjanots Mountains are the southeastern embranchment of the Pambak mountain range. The ascent features stunning views of Lake Sevan and Arjanots, Geghama, and Areguni mountains. In 5 kilometers along the trail, you will reach a viewpoint that gives a splendid view of the Sevan Peninsula. Hike another 3 kilometers down the trail and you will reach the road that leads to the Peninsula.
Along the entire trail to the Dream Peak, you will see the Mashtotsner forest and the old Sevan-Dilijan road. There are many springs and pavilions in the woods that are often referred to by the locals “places for feasts”. The area is also perfect for camping. Upon reaching the Dream Peak, you will understand why the locals call the lake “a sea”.
“Երազանքի արահետը” արշավային արահետ է, որը սկսվում է Սևանի բուսաբանական այգու հարակից տարածքից և շարունակվում դեպի հյուսիս-արևելք՝ Արջանոցի լեռներով։ Արջանոցի լեռները Փամբակի լեռնաշղթայի հարավ-արևելյան ճյուղավորությունն են։ Վերելքի ողջ ընթացքում կարելի է հիանալ Սևանա լճի, Արջանոցի, Գեղամա և Արեգունի լեռների տեսարաններով։ 5 կմ քայլելով արահետով` հայտնվում ես մի կետում, որտեղից հրաշալի տեսարան է բացվում դեպի Սևանի թերակղզի: Սկսելով վայրէջքը և քայլելով 3կմ` հայտնվում ես Սևանի թերակղզու ճանապարհին։
Երազանքի գագաթին հասնելու ճանապարհի ամբողջ երկայնքով՝ ձախ կողմում, կարող ես տեսնել Մաշտոցներ անտառը և Սևան – Դիլիջան հին ճանապարհը: Անտառապատ տարածքում կան ջրի աղբյուներ ու տաղավարներ, տեղացիների բնորոշմամբ՝ «քեֆ անելու տեղեր»: Տարածքը հարմար է նաև վրանային գիշերակացի համար: Եթե հասնես Երազանքի գագաթ, կհասկանաս,թե ինչու են տեղացիները լճին ծով անվանում:
