It is pride and life to me. Additionally, I started singing and performing national songs from a very young age, so it has been a part of me for as long as I can remember.<\/p><p data-start=\"453\" data-end=\"587\"><strong data-start=\"453\" data-end=\"587\">&#8212; If, one day, due to life circumstances, you had to leave national music and sing in another genre, which genre would you choose?<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"764\">If that day ever comes, I wouldn&#8217;t be afraid. I would gladly try myself in the jazz genre, although national music will always remain on a much higher, different level for me.<\/p><p data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"836\"><strong data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"836\">&#8212; Could you tell us a little about your work with the band &#8220;Gata&#8221;?<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"838\" data-end=\"1410\">The songs of the \u201cGata\u201d band, baked by the skilled hands of Andranik and Garik, I believe, turn out to be very tasty. I constantly feel the need for flavorful music. In today\u2019s world, national songs are often distorted, so there is always a need to present them correctly. My friend Hrayer and I, together with the \u201cGata\u201d band, tried to create a song that would stand out with its quality and sound. I think we were able to achieve our goal and present fresh, updated versions of national songs to the audience. In my opinion, our &#8220;tasty gata&#8221; can be considered a success.<\/p><p data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1503\"><strong data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1503\">&#8212; Do you think national music is sufficiently accepted and widespread in society today?<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"1505\" data-end=\"1830\">In my opinion, it is quite widespread. From what I\u2019ve noticed, both young people and adults listen to it, meaning there are no age limitations. For example, I am often invited to sing at weddings, and I have to say that people become more lively with the sound of the zurna, which I consider a very positive fact in our time.<\/p><p data-start=\"1832\" data-end=\"1923\"><strong data-start=\"1832\" data-end=\"1923\">&#8212; What are the upcoming plans for the \u201cGata\u201d band, as well as your personal activities?<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"1925\" data-end=\"2347\">The band is planning new song recordings and music videos. As for my personal activities, I am focused on educating children. I have dedicated myself to my students, putting all my energy into instilling national values such as singing and dancing in them. And I must mention a joyful fact: my students can now distinguish between high-quality and low-quality music. National songs are held in high regard in their hearts.<\/p><p data-start=\"2349\" data-end=\"2417\"><strong data-start=\"2349\" data-end=\"2417\">&#8212; Why did you decide to participate in the Sevan Music Festival?<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"2419\" data-end=\"2854\">Whenever I go to Sevan, I sit by the shore and sing \u201cTagvoragovk\u2019.\u201d The festival, both in terms of location and format, intrigued me. When I read the call for participation, I immediately decided that I had to be part of it. Presenting traditional songs with modern instrumentation is an interesting endeavor.
