Komitas at Bohem: A Special Celebration<\/strong><\/p>

Komitas used to pick roses. He loved mixing dried rose petals\u2014always of the finest and most expensive variety\u2014with his tea.<\/p>

At Bohem, we celebrated a Komitas Day<\/strong>.
In honor of the 148th anniversary of the great Komitas\u2019 birth, we hosted Komitas\u2019 Jubilee Day<\/strong> at Bohem.<\/p>

In the afternoon, we welcomed students from the National Center for Aesthetics<\/strong>, who created works inspired by Komitas. Later in the evening, students from the Sevan Vazgenian Spiritual School held an insightful meeting, revealing fascinating episodes from Komitas\u2019 life to the audience.<\/p>

The evening ended with Komitas-inspired melodies, blending both spiritual and folk songs. The young Sevanese artist Hasmik Baghdasaryan<\/strong> also showcased her talent, presenting a small performance of a Komitas piece.<\/p>

Today, even our menu was aligned with the theme of the day. After a bit of research, we learned what kind of tea the revered master liked to drink. For the dishes, we served the traditional “Zhazhik”<\/strong>, a popular dish from Van during his time, which was also shared with our guests.<\/p>

We are confident that those who were present at Bohem today took home a small piece of Komitas with them.<\/p>
