The SevanErAC Media Project has its roots in 2009. It was created by a group of volunteer young people from the Sevan Youth Club, who, despite having limited skills, had a strong desire to create a TV program that would tell the story of their peers, all made possible by the efforts of the youth themselves.
The main goal of the project is to highlight the daily lives of our community’s young people, address their issues, and discuss topics and questions that interest them. Since the programs—ranging from topic selection to development, guest choices, filming processes, and so on—are created by young people, it fully represents the YOUTH PERSPECTIVE of our city. It’s no coincidence that in the beginning, the shows were called “Youth Perspective”. After a brief hiatus, the program series resumed under the new name SevanErAC Media Project.
In these projects, young people, who are mostly not journalists, try to explore and test their skills in journalism. Our permanent partner, friend, and supporter is Sevan’s local TV station STV Holding, with whom we produce our SevanErAC programs.
We wish for a WIDE AUDIENCE to watch!
