The Association of Social Enterprises of Armenia , tour closed in Sevan on October 16th.
The union was established this past summer with seven organizations from different five regions, to legally be registered within the Union of Legal Entities.
From October 12-16th the British Council of Armenia and The Association of Social Enterprises of Armenia organized regional meetings throughout Armenia on the topic of developing social enterprises. Support to Democratic Governance in Armenia project meneger John Write and Mirjana Mladic (a representative of social enterprises from Slovenia) and the representatives came from the Association have meetings in Vayots Dzor, Syunik, Ijevan, Vanadzor, and Gegharkunik. In all of these places, members of NGOs attended to discuss social entrepreneurship. The goal of this tour was to introduce principles of social entrepreneurship, social enterprises, and to inform the public on the association’s work.
