On May 9, one of the latest — and this time festive — steps of our ongoing Cycling Revolution was a bike ride that started from the Pantheon, a memorial dedicated to the fallen of the Artsakh War.
Initially, the ride was planned to head toward the memorial located on the hillside of the Gomadzor neighborhood, dedicated to the victims of the Great Patriotic War. However, not all participants’ bicycles were suited for the wet and steep slope, so the route was changed, and the ride continued toward the square named after Vladimir Karapetyan, commander of the “Special Regiment” who fell in the Artsakh War.
And with that, the Cycling Revolution of 2016 was officially launched.

Մայիսի 9 ին մեր հերթական , բայց արդեն տոնական հեծանվային հեղափոխության քայլերից էր հեծանվաերթը , որը մեկնարկեց արցախյան պատերազմում զոհվածների հիշատակն հավերժացնող հուշակոթողից` Պանթեոնից : Ի սկզբանե երթը նախատեսված էր դեպի Հայրենական Մեծ պատերազմի զոհերին նվիրված` Գոմաձոր թաղամասի սարալանջին գտնվող հուշակոթող, սակայն երթի անդամներից ոչ բոլորի հեծանիվները կարող էին բարձրանալ թաց ու թեք սարալանջը, ուստի երթուղին փոխվեց դեպի արցախյան պատերազմում «Հատուկ գնդի» հրամանատար Վլադիմիր Կարապետյանի անվան հրապարակ:
Այսպիսով, 2016 -ի Հեծանվային հեղափոխության մեկնարկը տրված է:
