This year, the book collection initiative once again yielded wonderful results. Various community organizations and individual citizens joined the cause.
The Sevan Youth Club initially planned to focus this year only on collecting books for the children of the Armenian community in Grenoble. However, soon after, our fellow citizen Heghine Gharibyan joined the initiative, suggesting that books be collected for one of the military units in Artsakh as well.
When the two ideas merged, they created one large BOOK COLLECTION.
Employees of the Sevan City Hall, M. Mashtots Secondary School No. 1, and Gomadzor Secondary School No. 6, along with active citizens, joined the effort. A total of approximately 350 books were collected.
This year’s slogan was “Communicate with a Book”. In addition to the books, the participants of the initiative wrote letters—both for the children of the Armenian community in Grenoble and for the Armenian soldiers.
In today’s digital world, where practical and easy habits dominate, the joyful and creative culture of writing letters on paper has nearly disappeared. The goal of this initiative was to revive that culture, sending a “message” along with the books, filled with enthusiasm, good wishes, and, of course, with the hope of receiving feedback.
Այս տարի ևս գրքահավաքը տվեց հրաշալի արդյունք:
Համայնքի տարբեր կառույցներ և պարզապես անհատներ միացին նախաձեռնությանը:
Սևան երիտասարդական ակումբը նախատեսել էր այս տարի բավարարվել միայն Գրենոբլի հայ համայնքի երեխաների համար գրքերի հավաքագրումով: Սակայն շուտով մեր համաքաղաքացի Հեղինե Ղարիբյանն էլ միացավ նախաձեռնությանը` առաջարկելով արցախյան զրամասերից մեկի համար գրքեր հավաքագրել :
Երկու գաղափարները միանալով իրար` դարձան մի մեծ ԳՐՔԱՀԱՎԱՔ:
Մեզ միացան Սևանի քաղաքապետարանի աշխատակիցները, Մ.Մաշտոցի անվան թիվ 1 հիմնական և Գոմաձորի թիվ 6 միջնակարգ դպրոցները և պարզապես ակտիվ քաղաքացիներ: Հավաքագրվեց մոտ 350 կտոր գրականություն:
Այս տարվա կարգախոսն էր «Հաղորդակցվիր գրքով» և, բացի գրքերից, նախաձեռնության մասնակիցներն իրենց գրքերի հետ գրել էին նամակներ թե’ Գրենոբլի հայ համայնքի երեխաներին և թե’ հայ զինվորներին:
Թվային աշխարհի պրակտիկ ու հեշտ սովորույթների մեջ գրեթե վերացել է թղթով նամակ գրելու հաճելի և ստեղծագործ մշակույթը: Այս նախաձեռնության նպատակն էր` վերականգնել այն և գրքի հետ միասին «հաղորդագրություն» ուղարկել ` լի ոգևորությամբ, լավ ու բարի մաղթանքներով և իհարկե հետադարձ կապի ակնկալիքով:
